We passed several trucks stuck in the mud due to heavy rains last night! This is what you call serious off-roading!

We pulled over on the way back to Uyuni to take in this beautiful sunrise!

This Geyser is called the Morning Sun! We got to put some of the mud on our faces, but I’m not sure it made us any younger.

Laguna Colorado, or the red lagoon, is home to almost 70,000 migrating flamingos!

Can you spot the Viscacha? They look just like rabbits but they hop up cliffs!

We got to swim in some natural hot springs in Potosi, Bolivia!

We explored the black lagoon on the Potosi Altiplano on our way to the laguna colorado! Amazing unspoiled beauty!

I’m not gonna lie, we were a little winded taking this picture and it wasn’t far from the car! In case you can’t read it - that says 16,150 FT!

We left Uyuni for a couple days for Potosi, exploring the middle of nowhere and chasing llamas!

We definitely didn’t pick an easy place to get to. This is our FOURTH flight which will take us to Cochabamba, where we will catch our fifth and final puddle-jumper to Uyuni (as in Salar de Uyuni, the salt flats). The good news is they finally let us sit together…

The Rinconada Ecoparque! (The Corner Eco Park)

We tried ALLIGATOR!! Both ceviche and fried. Personally, I’m a bigger fan of the Yukka, but Will liked it!

Holy lily pads!! The largest ever was 3.2 meters (9ish feet)! We visited a botanical garden today outside of Santa Cruz!

The wind makes it a battle for them, but there are butterflies everywhere here!

Santa Cruz is beautiful, but SUPER windy!!

We made it!! Along with all EIGHT of our checked bags, two carry-ons, and one wedding dress!

The weather had some fun curve balls to throw with rerouted and delayed flights, but we’re leaving Panama and on our way to Santa Cruz! We’re sadly not sitting together but at least we made it onto a flight…
